2. Please furnish a small note about what you will try to attempt during this Karavan Event, if selected. For this purpose, we would like you to go through the Concept Note and other Event Deails written below.

3. We are likely to provide the support material if we receive some proper funding. The second line of action should be simpler, or a self financing scheme ; and to keep considering that it is an Art-Travel-Camp event.

4. All the lodging boarding and travelling will be organized by PERIPHERALS in collaboration with local organizations and other sponsors.

5. Artists would be free to participate for one or more, or all the eight stages of the event.

6. We encourage Artists to apply to get some sponsorship for their projects to realize during their Karavan participation. We are likely to send each selected artists an invitation letter by post, after we receive a confirmation from them via email.

7. Artists from abroad, Europe and America need to apply for to and fro travel grants, and if we receive grants for the same , we are likely to reimburse accordingly.

8. Since the PERIPHERALS is an Artist's intitiative, we request those who will become Karavan Participants and other Art Lovers to support such innovative approachs to Art, so contribute..

9. On joining the Karavan at Shanti Niketan, W.B, Artists would be asked to sign a simple contract ,mentioning their willingness to participate in the event, that they will be solely responsible in case of a mishap, while travelling through the difficult Northern Regions of India. ( please see the map )

10. The 'Peripherals' would take care of all the documentation of the event, and all the participants would receive the edited digital version of the event, besides a Catalogue after some time. The concluding event in Delhi would be just the video/stills projection of the entire event, and possibly a symposium around the Karavan concept.

11. Since the Karavan by PERIPHERALS is a essentially a PERFORMANCE ART based event, but it is OPEN for all the kind of artists, and so called non-artists, who are free to do their kind of work, or colloborate with participating artists or with the local energies. In short, it will be an event to realize a new intimacy between music, theatre, performance art, painting(contemporary/folk ), poetry, literature, blogging, discourse, etc , in a camp(s) and even while travelling from one destination to another.

12. And we would love to hear if similar Karavans are conceived in different parts of the world, enabling us to connect , to energize the concept of a free simple world, based on fresher understanding of nature, love, equality and justice. Please forward it to friends and concerned orgs.
